Swedish Massage

Swedish massage was developed by a Swedish doctor names Per Henrik Ling. The term itself refers to different techniques that were specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against the deeper muscles and bones while rubbing in the same direction of the flow of blood.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is designed to help athletes prepares their bodies for the best performances, recovering after an event, or better functioning during training. You do not have to be a sports professional to enjoy the benefits of a sports massage. Sports massage is also great for people with injuries, restricted range of motion and even chronic pain.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is very helpful for chronically tense areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is a massage technique that involves applying pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and in other parts of the body. Sometimes massage and trigger point therapy are performed together.

Trigger points are areas of tenderness in a muscle. There are two basic types of trigger points: active and latent.

Thai Massage

Thai massage is more rigorous and energetic than more classic forms of massage.

Thai massage is also known as Thai yoga massage, this is because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. People describe Thai massage as both relaxing and energizing.

Reiki

Reiki practitioners often create a relaxing atmosphere for their Reiki sessions, setting the mood using dimmed lights, meditative music, or bubbling water fountains. Some practitioners choose to be in a place that is completely silent, without distraction of music of any kind, to conduct their Reiki sessions in.
